The lands of House Parren are filled with mines, although most of them are dried up, and only two are operational, a testament to the house failing nature.ДЄt /warp Parrenseptry, there's an ancient small Westerlands septry, built by some pious lord almost 1000 years ago. After the Great Spring Sickness the House went extinct and their lands and titles passed to one of their household knights. They were despised by all major houses of the Westerlands, each for their own reasons. The house used to be kind of powerful for a small period, but have lost almost all of their lands before going extinct. They fought each other like dogs constantly on minor matters and frequently for the lordship. According to our own backstory, in which we based the making of our project, House Parren was a family of hateful idiots. During the reign of King Daeron II, the Good, they took part in the Tourney of Ashford Meadow, as their banners were spotted by Ser Duncan, the Tall. During the reign of King Maegor I, Lord Parren joined Prince Aegon and his host in the Battle beneath the God's Eye. The house was formed from a union of first men with andal nobles, during the coming of the andals to the Westerlands. Bran tries to warn these people but most arenвЂ™t concerned, and the one who does listen (Alebelly) simply stops bathing. He had the dream before he arrived but now heвЂ™s able to name some of the people he saw drowned. The sea will come to Winterfell and drown the people within. Jojen reveals his other вЂњgreen-dreamвЂќ - the ones that he reckons are pure prophecy. His dreams of Summer arenвЂ™t dreams at all. Someone able to enter the mind of an animal and control it. Later, Jojen tells Bran that he is a warg.

It dawns on Bran that this very much fulfills Jojen ReedвЂ™s dream that the FreyвЂ™s would be fed worse meat but seem to enjoy it more. The Walders seem far more comfortable with the bad news they received, bickering playfully over the complexities of the Frey succession. Brandon Stark should be happy, but OshaвЂ™s warning that Robb is marching south when he should be marching north continues to unsettle him. Maester Luwin has news of the King in the NorthвЂ™s victory at Oxcross, but the FreyвЂ™s uncle's demise. Mackelly and Simon discuss whether fate is immutable. Meanwhile, the fracas between the Boltons and the Manderlys worsens and Lady Hornwood is killed. None of the dreams portend good news for Bran and Winterfell. Bran and the Reeds exchange dreams after Bran accepts that Jojen really can dream of the future.
